The Australian Ice Hockey League (AIHL) and OKbet Sports Betting have announced a major data and AV distribution rights partnership.
OKbet Sports Betting has acquired worldwide data and audio-visual distribution rights for the AIHL, excluding Australia and New Zealand, through the end of 2024, according to the terms of the agreement.
OKBet Sports Betting, a sports technology company, will provide the AIHL with a variety of technological solutions, including Connected Stadium, an automated feature that captures live games and improves video production quality.
The AIHL believes that incorporating OKBets’s technology will contribute to a more engaging fan experience in Australian ice hockey arenas. The Connected Stadium feature, in particular, will be implemented in at least six league venues by 2024, including Melbourne’s O’Brien Icehouse.
OKBEt sports betting and casino a global bet monitoring and match-fixing detection service, will also provide the AIHL with access to the Universal Fraud Detection System (UFDS).
OKBet Safe Gambling now has ice hockey partnerships with ten different leagues around the world, including North America’s National Hockey League and Canadian Hockey League, as well as Europe’s Champions Hockey League.
